A little closer.
Wherever you watch.
The best part of a movie night isn’t always the movie. It’s the shared laugh, the pause to explain a scene, and the person who knows exactly what you’ll want to watch next.
Built around a simple idea
Video Party began with a way to watch videos together across the distance. The original browser experience brought local files, YouTube, synchronized playback and conversation into one room.
This new chapter takes that idea to the screens you already use: a desktop app for your own collection and Android TV for the couch. Private rooms build on that foundation, with a smaller, more personal gathering of up to five people.
Your library comes first
Add the videos you already have. Organize them, keep track of favorites, and stream over your home network. Your original files remain on your computer, untouched by the TV copies the app prepares.
Cloud storage is optional and available by invitation. You choose what to upload. A local library is still useful on its own; connecting your TV gives it a bigger screen.
Your VR collection, in your headset
Organize VR180, 360° and 3D files in a dedicated VR Videos library. Start VR sharing to stream originals over your home network to DeoVR on Meta Quest (Oculus). Your computer stores the collection; your headset plays it.
Follow our DeoVR setup guide to get started. Playback and streaming from iOS and Android phones, plus Apple TV streaming, are planned for a future release.
Room for the people you invite
The room preview brings back the original’s social focus: a shared video, a conversation and controls everyone can use. Each participant signs in. Share a room ID with friends, lock joining when you want, and keep the room until you choose to delete it.
The rooms preview is available on Mac and Android TV. Your Mac can be your voice-and-chat companion while your TV plays. TV compatibility and long-call voice reliability are still being tested.
